Choose Clothes for the Matron of Honour – Ideas for Wedding
Traditionally, the bride’s parents pay for the bride’s attendants’ dresses. However, increasingly these days, more attendants are offering to pay for their own clothes, especially if they can be worn again after the wedding.

□ Liaise with the Matron of Honour to ensure color and style co-ordination
□ Discuss whether her outfit will be purchased, hired or special by made and who will pay
□ Agree a suitable style, taking into account her personality, proportions, height and figure (accentuate her good points and minimize the rest)

• sleeves (depending on the time of year)
• trimmings and decoration
• fabric (depending on the time of year)
□ Agree on the color, taking into account the color of her hair and complexion

Headdress
□ Choose an appropriate style to complement her dress and any decorative features, and to suit her proposed hairstyle on the wedding day
• circlet of fresh or silk flowers • a single bloom • cluster of flowers • ribbons trimmed with flowers • a hat

Accessories
□ Ascertain what accessories she already owns, which ones will need to be purchased or hired and who will pay
•shoes
Color to match or tone with her dress. It is possible to have plain white satin shoes dyed. Comfortable, non-slip, with size of heel to complement the style of her dress and her height
• stockings or tights
• jewelry
